Woodpecker Co began firefighting in 1994.  From the amount of employees to the amount of equipment, the company has grown tremendously in recent years. Woodpecker Co 's manifest has nearly 100 trained firefighters including several Class-B fallers, two Class-C fallers, and an EMT. Woodpecker Co ’s goal is to provide well-trained and professional type 2 twenty person hand crews. The company also puts high emphasis on practicing mutual respect for others, professionalism, integrity, and work ethic. Woodpecker Co is a multiple crew wildland firefighting entity with vast experience in line suppression, initial attack, indirect attack, back burning, assisting in helicopter bucket drops, cutting fire line, hose lay, mop up operations, and rehabilitation. Woodpecker’s mission is to maintain their reputation for quality exceeding expectation of what is asked by any IMT.
